- FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:
Before you both decide to move in and live together, sit, and try to make a plan to manage your finances/expenses. Decide things beforehand and divide your expenses as per your comforts.
- DIVIDE YOUR CHORES:
Divide all your responsibilities whether it’s the household chores or financial expenses. Share everything equally with each other just as you are going to share your lives. Sharing everything will avoid conflicts and you can live peacefully.
- REASON BEHIND TAKING THIS BIG STEP:
Moving in together is a big step, so don’t rush into anything too soon. Take your time with it and think about whether your relationship is going to lead into a full time marriage or not. Don’t fall for false promises and expectations.
- SORT YOUR TROUBLES TOGETHER:
In a new relationship everything seems to be so dreamy but with time things change as you spend more time with your partner. There are chances to have arguments and conflicts with each other but don’t stretch these issues and take any harsh or sudden steps to get over with the relationship rather sit and have a talk with your partner to resolve things out.
- TIME LIMIT ON LIVE-IN:
Being in a live-in relationship has its own perks but you need to decide a time limit in case your end goal is to get married. If you are comfortable living together without a marriage that’s solely your call, otherwise talk to your partner about this and decide on a time limit to be in a live-in.
- IN CASE OF PREGNANCY:
Now that you guys are going to be sharing the same house and the same room, you need to be a little more cautious. Make sure that you use protection or take pills in case of unwanted pregnancy.
