• GATHER INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR ANGER:

Always try to collect information about what is causing you to be angry. When someone does something disrespectful or says something demeaning to you then you might feel angry, or when a person violates your personal boundaries that induces feelings of rage. So next time pay attention to such events and try to tell that person in a good way that they understand it and that particular behavior is not repeated. 

 

  • FOCUS ON OTHER EMOTIONS TOO:

When a person is embarrassed, ashamed, or is feeling proud or bold due to something they might experience some rage and this leads to aggressive behavior. So one must always pay attention to such causes or reasons that lead them to being angry and must try to overcome these or handle them gracefully. 

 

  • CALM YOURSELF DOWN:

Whenever you experience anger or you are being irrational you must try to incorporate some breathing exercises in your routine or you can go for a brisk walk. One can also try some muscle relaxing exercises as this will help to lower down their tensions. 

 

  • CHANNELISE ANGER INTO ACHIEVING YOUR GOAL:

Anger is a state when a person is filled up with lots of power and strength and this can be used very effectively so as to complete tasks that were pending or something that you have been delaying for a long time. For example, you can arrange your wardrobe, or can clean up your room. You can use this energy into starting a new career path or learning some new skills. 

 

  • WRITE YOUR THOUGHTS:

Make a note of the incidents that made you angry. Always write down your feelings when you are angry as this will help you to know what caused you to be angry and you can use this information in future to avoid such situations. And in case you find it uncontrollable then you can always seek professional help to help you to manage your anger. 

 

  • USE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:

Anger leads to production of excessive energy and adrenaline rush in our body. This energy and rush can be used in gaining some physical strength. One can start to go to the gym and be fit and can even start to play sports that they love and achieve expertise in those if they intend to have a career in sports.
