ALWAYS START LOW, BUT AIM HIGH:
Whenever you have set a goal always start by dividing your task into small tasks and then move forward. At first start with a small goal to achieve and then slowly raise the limit and make progress. Always start with small targets and then go on to bigger goals this way you will be able to complete your tasks easily and will be motivated too.
SET A TIME LIMIT TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOAL:
Always set a time limit to your set goals. Setting a time limit will not only tell you to manage things but will also help you to know if you are lacking in something or you need to speed up your progress. When you assign a particular time to a particular task you are better able to manage things as you can segregate your projects based on what step is to be done first and what is to be done in the end.
ALWAYS WRITE YOUR ACTION PLANS:
Make it a habit to always note down every single thing in a notebook. Always make a note of your goal and the steps that you have to complete and write everything down properly beforehand. This step will make things easy as you can always look through your notes that what step is to be followed and when and how everything is to be done.
FOLLOW YOUR ACTION PLANS STRICTLY:
Sometimes it’s hard to stick to your goals because of the hurdles that come while achieving or moving forward in order to achieve your goals. There might be a possibility that you get stuck at a particular step due to some reasons but don’t give up and always remember that no matter what you have to stick to your goal and complete it.
TRACK YOUR WORK PROGRESS:
From the first step that you decide your goal to the last step, always track your progress at each step. This will help you know at what step how much time it took you to complete that particular step and once you complete a step you feel motivated and this drives you more to move forward to achieve your goal.
All the steps are important to be followed so as to reach to your goals but you also need to reward yourself now and then to keep yourself motivated and rewarding yourself when you complete a task on time or before the set limit will create a positive feeling in your mind and this will help you too better stick to the plan and achieve your goal on time.
